The band features Nell's rich, warm and sexy vocals and is an entertaining mix
of traditional bluegrass and country, including original compositions.
Nell Robinson leads the band and performs with Jonathan Schiele (banjo, vocals); John Codgdill (mandolin, vocals); Yoseff Tucker (guitar, vocals); and Dave Gooding (bass, vocals). NRRL headlined at the renowned Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley in August 2007 and returned in March 2008 to a sold-out crowd. The band opened in April 2008 for Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands at the Sweetwater Station for the Bluegrass Gold Series. Most recently, they won the 2008 Emerging Artist competition at the Plymouth Bluegrass Festival.
